Christmas Party Pictures

We had one of our family Christmas parties a couple of weeks ago, and I'm only now getting around to writing a page about it. Allison and her family like to build gingerbread houses as the main activity for the party, but I usually sit that part out. I don't like to get sticky.

Allison hired Johnny Harra to perform this year. He's one of the original Elvis impersonators, and he's a real treasure. He was in the movie This is Elvis in the early 1980's, and he used to do the Elvis impersonator thing in Vegas too. We're lucky enough that he's local now. Here are some pictures:



This is a pic of Johnny Harra in my living room performing. I have no doubt that had Elvis lived, he'd look pretty much like Johnny Harra. I have a photo of Johnny Harra from 1981 that I thought was a joke, because it looks SO much like Elvis.



This is a picture of my Aunt Marty with "the King".



This one is of Cliff Spiller, Randy Ray, Johnny Harra, and Shane Rivers. Cliff and Shane come over every weekend, and we didn't see any reason for them to skip a week just because we were having a family Christmas party. I think Cliff enjoyed the singing more than Shane did, but we all had fun.
