Larry Renfrow

Larry Renfrow has a new website and it's worth checking out, especially today's tribute to Joel Higgins, the actor from "Silver Spoons" in the 1980's.

Larry is misguided in Joel Higgins best work. His best work was as Marshal Sam Best in "Best of the West." He was in a leading role which Larry complains about with "Salvage 1," and he led a solid cast which included Meeno Pluce (Soleil Moon Frye's brother), Christopher Lloyd, "Grandpa" Al Lewis and the great character tramp Tracy "Frog" walter. It was a show way before its time! I mean, jsut read IMDB's lot synopsis: "Civil War vet Sam Best picks up and moves out West to Copper Creek with his wife Elvira and son Daniel. Best, who is not handy with a gun and would rather talk than fight, then becomes the town marshal, much to the chagrin of shady town boss Parker Tillman and his dumb sidekick Frog."
How could you not love it?
